Behind the Curtain
The title of this piece says it all. Behind the Curtain was completed in 2006, and I was deep in the process of pulling the curtain and letting people see the little woman behind it. As my depression would pull away, I could start to see the new and beautiful landscape set before me. I would venture out of my solitude for awhile, knowing the curtain would pull closed once again. And so it was and still can be.
