Leap of Faith
Leap of Faith was created in 2006. As with many of my pieces, I look back and see so much that was an unconscious expression at the time. I always title my work with the first words that come to mind; I don’t judge it, think about it, or change it. I see the uneven cliffs , one orange, the other a deep burgundy purple. There are many ways the cross the gap between them, stairs of red and blue, so many planks of color, a fire escape type shape, or do I simply jump. I must leap, with faith.
