Orange Branches
Orange Branches was completed in 2007. I have always loved to paint trees, as they are so beautifully abstract in their organic nature, reaching to connect earth and sky, a bridge to heavenly bliss. As I look back on this piece, I see the memories of seasons past pulsing forward and backward, always alive and informing our present. The red tree, in the background on the right side, beats as a large heart revealing the love that has always been with me. I see the trees in the forefront as a representation of the passage of life, from childhood to older days of wisdom. All is in its’ perfect balance.
