Fall is a time that has always been a favorite of mine and my family. Juicy colors of changing leaves lend their magic and intensity to my imaginings. My Father and Mother were married among the crisp beauty, and also both left us in this most transformative time. The perfect metaphor for their next journey.
The blur of the top left corner is the attempt to erase the pain, and reorder this new reality with distinct glowing yellow light, as seen in the bottom right of the piece. New joys push out in red, blue, orange and green. There is orange fire and blue peace as these new geometrics float like the falling leaves.
