Red, White and Blue was completed in 2007, as part of a nine piece series, including Orange Fence, Grass is Always Greener, Ghostwriting, Circles in the Sky, Blue Ribbons, Blue Glow, A Cloud in the Sky and Scattered Shapes.
I float softly above the crowd, the rectangular shapes below echo the tent city that has become my home. I am tethered through the outstretched black mark which is created with palette knife. The yellow energy sweeps up, ready to cradle me and guide me back. I seek freedom, newness, but still can’t let go.
